100% from the region

“Different pattern and wood combinations create a high degree of variation.”

Traditionally and with great care we manufacture our parquet floors from the oak wood of our regional forest. The different parquet patterns enable the furnishing of both small and very large rooms and halls – experience the fascination of wood and the charm of fine nuances.

The wood for our solid oak parquet is sourced exclusively from the regionally adjacent forest.  Here in the Erxleben forest, the huge oaks are felled and dried slowly and naturally over months in the fresh air. To meet the conditions of modern living, the wood is then carefully and gently dried in the drying chamber to the desired residual moisture. This gives the parquet its stability and almost completely relieves the tensions. Our parquet floors are manufactured in their naturally grown structure and are finished with a biological oil after installation.

Resources are used sustainably and consciously. Products are created which have an extremely long service life and strive for deceleration. This is how we manufacture our parquet floors.

Wood is a living material, it reacts to its environment. Therefore, it is important to check the room climate before laying. To reduce the formation of joints, it is relevant to install the parquet under controlled room temperature and humidity. In addition, care must be taken to ensure a level subfloor. Our parquet is glued to the floor over the entire surface. This makes our floors suitable for laying on underfloor heating systems.

After laying, small joints and hairline cracks are closed with a mixture of wood and glue. To obtain a uniform surface structure after laying, it is important to sand the floor properly. Pieces of parquet lying at right angles to each other must be sanded at 45° to the direction of the grain. This is the only way to achieve a homogeneous floor appearance.

Our wood is obtained in a very sustainable way and is only air-dried for several months. For this reason, order times of 3 to 6 months result.
